Amberjack, Arapaima, Skipjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Wahoo, and more could be biting if you cast your line at the right time of year.

On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Trips with Po n’ Proud are child-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Capt. Matt runs a 41' Convertible with room for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Matt will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
