La Bella
Booked with us before? You may qualify for a Loyalty Discount. Sign in to check.
Make the most of your time in Destin and go fishing with La Bella.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Yellowedge Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, Red Snapper, Wahoo, Gray Triggerfish, Sailfish, and whatever else is biting.
You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. David also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Your trip begins aboard a 40' Center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with La Bella?
