You'll be dropping lines from a 28' Sportfishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

We started right on time, and there were only four of us on the boat besides Captain Rich, which made the trip feel very personal. For me, choosing a fishing charter is really about the captain, his experience, his knowledge of the water, and how he makes the day feel. Going with Captain Rich was an experience in itself. He knows exactly where to go and where the fish are. In our case, we were fishing for salmon, and he took us straight to the right spots. The fishing was phenomenal. It felt like almost every time we dropped a line, something was happening. I caught four salmon myself. Two were kings that had to be released because they weren’t in season, and I kept two beautiful coho. This was my very first time salmon fishing, and I caught my limit so quickly that I eventually just sat back and watched everyone else fish. Captain Rich was patient, professional, welcoming, and genuinely fun to spend the morning with. We were talking, laughing, and listening to his stories throughout the trip. At the end, he filleted our fish incredibly quickly and professionally, which was the perfect finish to the day. This trip definitely made me want to continue fishing, and I would absolutely go out with Captain Rich again and again. Highly, highly recommended.

Great boat, focus on safety and, of course, fishing! And this is our second time with Captain Rich. Last time we didn't catch anything we could bring back but we had such a nice time and he tried so hard. We knew that if we came back we would enjoy our trip and bring home some fish. The second time did none disappoint. Highly recommended.

No doubt the other boats were watching our every move. I’ve had the privilege of fishing with Capt.Rich for almost 10 years now and am convinced he knows these waters as well as anyone. If the fish are out there, he knows how to find them

SUCH a GREAT time!!!!! What a fantastic experience!!!! Captain Rich is awesome!!! We were on salmon all morning!!! Never a dull moment!!! We will be making this a yearly experience!! We got so lucky booking with Captain Rich and The Northwest Fishing Charter the very first time! I WANT to HIGHLY recommend him, but if it means he gets too booked up, I'd rather not 😂

Captain Rich’s knowledge and enthusiasm for getting us on the water fishing and catching is exceptional! From super easy scheduling to meeting us at daylight through Captain Rich expertly filleting our catch before we departed for home. The perfect fishing day with a competent Captain who makes it all fun. Thankyou for another excellent fishing experience this year! Went out with two of my buddies on the sound for some salmon. It was my first time fishing before and captain Rich was super helpful showing us how to reel in fish. Had many bites and we caught out limit within a few hours. He knew several great spots where fish were likely to be and we never had to wait long to have another fish on the line. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great time on the sound.
