Hoping to catch some saltwater fish in the Brunswick area? Valhalla Charters is here to make it happen! Your guide for the day is Captain Erik, giving you access to their local experience. Captain Erik is retired from the USCG and holds a 25 Ton Master Captain's License.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Barracuda, Cobia, Tarpon, Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Blacktip Shark, and whatever else takes the bait. You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Valhalla Charters has lifejackets for all sizes, just let them know the age and size of the children so we can accommodate your group. Also remember to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Capt. Erik runs a 24' Center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, all the essentials.

Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is available. Captain Erik likes to catch his own fresh live bait, if you want to extend your trip to see what goes in to catching live bait, let him know.

For specific trips (near shore/reef fishing) A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Please tip the mate to show your appreciation.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's always a good idea to bring sunglasses, bug spray and sunblock (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Your trip with Valhalla Charters is just a click away, so why not make it happen

awesome trip work Captain Eric
6 Hour Trip – Inshore/Nearshore on July 5, 20262 adults1 child

Our family went on a 6hr fishing trip work Captain Eric. We started catching fish as soon as we hit the first fishing spot. after a few hours of fishing our 3yo needed a break. Captain Eric let us dock at Jekyle Island and showed us where to get ice cream. Captain Eric is very knowledgeable about both the local history and fishing honey holes. He was super flexible and wonderful with our toddler. our family had a great time and cough fish. We would highly recommend Captain Eric's charter, and look forward to going with him again next year.

Thank you. I had a great time with you guys. Having a three year old on the boat can go a lot of ways, but y’all were great. even with how hot it was. Let me know when you get back down here.

Erik was great!
4 Hour Trip – Inshore/Nearshore on July 19, 20262 adults2 children

Boat captain was awesome with our kids and took us to a few different spots. We did another boat trip the next day with a different company and were VASTLY underwhelmed with our second trip. Should have just done a second trip with Erik.

Thanks for the great review. I had a great time with you guys and it was great to meet you. I was hoping your second trip would net you some more keeper size fish. Hope the rest of your visit is awesome.
