Kingfisher Charters run premier inshore fishing trips out of Old Saybrook, on the mouth of the Connecticut River, targeting large Bluefish and monster Striped Bass, as well as Flounder, Scup, and plenty more. Their charters are perfect for beginners, families, and hardened veteran anglers alike, with a choice of half or full days, and the ability to customize your trip to make sure you get exactly what you want from your time on the water.

You will be fishing aboard a 28 ft Hydra Sport 2800WA Vector cuddy cabin, a hardy all-round fishing vessel perfect for inshore fishing but still nice and stable when the waters get choppy. She comes equipped with high quality Simrad electronics including dual GPS units and color fishfinders, a livewell full of top quality live bait, and everything you will need for the day’s fishing. The vessel also boasts full walkaround fishability, and a comfy cabin complete with a head for comfort and convenience on longer trips.

Kingfisher Charters specialize in live bait fishing along the Long Island Sound for trophy Striped Bass and Bluefish, and with 42 years of local experience and knowledge under his belt, captain Mark Anderson is the perfect man to make sure you find them. You will also be provided with tackle for a range of different techniques including popping, spinning, jigging and bottom fishing to make sure you have your perfect trip however you like to fish.
