Are you ready for a day to remember? Come aboard our 46' Omie Tillet Sport Fisher, ideal for anglers of all levels, packed with features that will make your time on the water truly unforgettable. We offer half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) trips for up to 10 passengers.
This sportfishing boat is fully equipped with outriggers, downriggers, a dredge, teasers, and a fighting chair- everything you need for a productive day on the water. Depending on the season and conditions, we target Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Tuna, Marlin, and Wahoo. You may find yourself spinning, trolling, or using more specialized techniques depending on the species.
Families are more than welcome! Kids can come aboard, and child-sized life vests may be available; just ask in advance or bring your own to be safe. For your comfort, the boat features a fully air-conditioned salon and an onboard bathroom. Snacks and drinks are provided, though you're welcome to bring your own. Beer and wine are allowed; please, no hard liquor or glass bottles.
Your captain and first mate will provide all rods, reels, and tackle, so all you need to do is show up ready to fish. Please note that a fishing license is required before the start of the trip, and you are welcome to keep all legally caught species. Remember to bring sunglasses and sunblock (non-spray only). It is customary to tip the crew 15–20% in appreciation of their service.

If you’re looking for the ultimate fishing experience in Costa Rica, the Sportsman is the charter to book! From the moment we stepped on board, the captain and crew were professional, friendly, and worked incredibly hard to make sure we had an amazing day. They knew exactly where to find the fish, kept the lines in the water, and were always ready to help. We caught 10 Sailfish, Mahi, and Yellowfin tuna! The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We caught some incredible fish, made unforgettable memories, and had an absolute blast from start to finish. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first time offshore fishing, I can’t recommend the Sportsman enough. Outstanding service, top-notch equipment, and an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to come back and do it again!

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
