Cobia, Great Barracuda, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Blacktip Shark, Mutton Snapper, Hogfish, Tarpon, Goliath Grouper, Permit, Spanish Mackerel, Black Grouper, and more could be biting if conditions are right.

On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Joel also offers kite fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing and bowfishing.

Trips with Ana Banana Fishing Company are open to the whole family, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!

Capt. Joel runs a 24' Center console with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
