There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Sheepshead, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, and more if conditions are right. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You'll be casting lines from a 24' Ranger bay boat with space for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

it’s never good to get a phone call from your Captain at 4:20 in the morning, but unfortunately that’s what happened. It seemed that there was no live shrimp available. We postpone the trip for a few hours for her to try to search for something unfortunately it was not available. He did offer to cancel it, but ended up taking us to some red snapper holes. He was incredibly apologetic and did everything he could to make sure we caught fish. We did catch some snapper, limit is only two per person and the captains no longer allowed to count towards the total. . Captin‘s acted absolutely everything you could to make the insure trip that I wanted to go on still successful. Unfortunately, there were things that were beyond anyone’s control, but he did everything he could to make sure we had a good time on the water. i would use him again.
We are glad we were able to get yall out on the water and hope to see yall again soon.
Captian Zach was a super normal good guy you’d want to go fishing with even if it wasnt a charter. Guy also happened to definitely know how to fish his ass off. Let us catch and release to catch bigger fish rather than just going out, getting our limit and coming back. Me and the boys had a great time and will definitely be booking with him for future trips!

We booked a couple trips with captain Zach. First trip we headed out to red snapper country and caught a nice 27lb beast. My son was able to catch a couple and we limited out fast. Second trip was all about the littles. 10 and 9 year old wanted to catch more. Zach did great teaching them how to cast and bait a hook. We caught several species. We filled our freezer. Kids had a blast. Zach was amazing and ended the trip letting the kids see dolphins up close and personal.
We are glad we got to get you on the water and let your kids have a great time. i try to make sure the kids are happy and take more time with them. i hope to see yall again in the future
We went on a 3 hour Red Snapper Trip with Captain Zach with 5 young children and 5 adults. Captain Zach and his crew put us on a great spot and he and his team were great working with the kids. Everyone had a blast and the fishing was the highlight of our Gulf Shores trip. Highly recommend.

"Had a great time out on the water with Captain Zach. He was knowledgeable, punctual, and kept us in the right spots. We caught two Huge red snapper and other special fish. Communication before the trip was easy and he provided all the gear we needed. Would definitely recommend and book again!"
