Alabama Girl Fishing invites you to choose your trip and departure time to fit your busy schedule. We are located at Ft Morgan Marina and fish anywhere from Gulf Shores to Ft Morgan. We offer multiple length trips and you can choose your departure times. This is a family-oriented charter company that welcomes avid anglers and first-timers alike. If you want to enjoy a fun and productive time on the water, you've found the right place!
Captain Rick Murdoch will take you out on his 24' Kenner center console. She comes powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and can accommodate up to 6 anglers. Her top-notch navigational electronics include a VHF radio, a side scan, and many other professional accessories.
We offer 2, 3, and 4 hr trips.
If you want to test the bite inshore, we can fish the calm waters of South Mobile Bay for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Spanish Mackerel, or we can head out and fish the edge of the Gulf Beach.
You'll use light spinning tackle, suitable for all ages. All the necessary gear and tackle will be provided, as well as your fishing license. We have a boat liscense paid for at the first of the year which covers everyone on the boat, so you dont have to worry about getting one. When you return to the marina your catch will be cleaned and filleted for free, ready to take home,
or have it cooked there at Tacky Jacks Restaurant, right on the marina property.

Rick is a phenomenal fishing guide! Rick had everything hooked, help grab the catch from the water and made the trip memorable! We had 6 people aging from 10-62 our fishing excursion was perfect for all our ages! From catching a shark to Spanish Mackerels - would highly recommend and would book with Rick again! We even brought home dinner with the Spanish Mackerels!!!! Thanks Rich and Alabama Girl Fishing!!!
Captain Rick was great with our 7 year old daughter. She loved every aspect of the trip and it made her dreams come true. From the netting of the bait fish and shrimp, to the fish we caught to the filleting of the fish at the end. Captain Rick was awesome!

Our first time and won’t be our last. The best time catching red snapper.
We fished for Spanish mackerel and king there were 3 of us we reeled in 6 kept 4 and had a blast. Went back to the house and cooked it. The captain gave us some shrimp to take home. Rick from Alabama girl fishing boat was a great captain.
