Offering both inshore and offshore charters in the waters off Montauk, NY, they have a variety of options to suit your needs. The well-named charter boat 'Capt. Ron' is a 30' True World offshore sportfishing boat with a walkaround layout, perfect for 360-degree fishability. Powered by a 315 HP engine, the boat cruises at a slick 20 knots, and it features a full range of marine electronics and safety equipment to ensure your trip is both productive and enjoyable.
Inside, there is a private bathroom, as well as a heated cabin with two bunk beds for relaxation. And while the deck is spacious enough for 6 people to fish, Capt. Ron prefers to limit his charters to 4 guests to ensure a personalized and enjoyable experience for everyone on board.
The team specializes in fishing for Striped Bass with live bait and diamond jigs. But that's not all – they can also provide offshore Cod trips. Here, you'll drop your line over deep water wrecks and ledges, with the aim of coming home with some of the most delicious and tender fish you can find. Other potential species you can catch include Fluke, Porgy, Black Seabass, and Bluefish.
Whichever trip you decide on, the focus will be on making sure everyone has an enjoyable, hands-on experience. The crew will do everything they can to make sure you come home with some delicious fish for the table – and they will make sure that you have fun doing it, too.

If you’re thinking about booking with Captain Ron, stop thinking and just do it. The guy is an absolute legend. Super personable, funny, easy to talk to, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. From the minute we got on the boat, he made me and my cousin feel like we’d been fishing with a buddy for years. He knew exactly where to put us on the fish and worked his tail off all trip to keep us on them. We caught so many fish we honestly didn’t know what to do with them. It was nonstop action, and every time things slowed down, Captain Ron was already making the next move to get us back on fish. What really stood out was how much he cared about making sure we had an awesome experience. He went above and beyond the entire trip, kept the energy up, taught us a ton, and made the whole day a blast. We were laughing the entire time. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for an unforgettable day on the water, this is the charter to book. We’ll 100% be back. Thanks again, Captain Ron—you absolutely crushed it! 🎣👏

Been out on many charters w/ many diff captains ans Ron is up there at the top for sure. Very patient and informative, transparent on conditions and chances on catching what we wanted, never felt surprised or unclesr on chances. Winds were calling for rough off shore waters and Ron was open about it all and gave us a lot of flexibility. We ended up cstching a decent 6ft 150lb brown shark which kids loved and plenty of black sea bass and porgies. it was awesome cor our kids. going to come back, maknly cause Ron is so awesome

Unfortunately we weren’t able to go out due to the weather. I greatly appreciate Captain Ron explaining to the two boys why we couldn’t go. Captain Ron drove us to the montauk lighthouse to validate the weather the conditions and make the extra effort. I really appreciate that we didn’t go and have to turn around and leaving the boys with negative feelings about fishing (first time going for striped bass at the point). Looking forward to booking my next trip with Captain Ron.

we jad a great afternoon fishing with Captain Ron. He found a fishing spot where we caught Silver Snappers all afternoon, some 70 fish in total. We also saw dolphins and a whale. It was truly spectacular. He was great working with my wife and daughter whowere fishing beginners. Just bring snacks and sunscreen and get ready to catch fish.

He is also one of the few people to have landed two Striped Bass weighing over 60 lbs. All these years of experience will ensure a productive and pleasant experience.
