Spend the day with American Gulf Guide Service and find out what the fishing in Dauphin Island is all about! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Clay can tell you all about the local fishery.

Red Snapper, Speckled Trout, Amberjack, Mangrove Snapper, Tripletail, Flounder, Gag Grouper, Redfish, Sheepshead, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your boat for the day is a 25' Sea Hunt Gamefish center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now, time to hit the water with American Gulf Guide Service!

Full Day Trip – Nearshore Snapper on June 2, 20264 adults2 children

Captain Clay was top-notch. The boat was pristine and dependable. Clay put us on the Fish and the fishing was good. There was a brief moment where the electronics were messing up, but Clay made lemonade out of lemons and still was able to put us on the fish. We had a blast. I’ll certainly book again soon.
