Make the most of your time in Puerto Vallarta and go fishing with Bruno´s Fishing.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Sailfish, Short-Tail Red Snapper (Ehu), Yellowtail Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Skipjack, Spanish Mackerel, Blue Marlin, Skipjack Tuna, Goliath Grouper, Queensland Groper (Giant Grouper), and whatever else takes the bait.
You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available; you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks!
You'll find yourself aboard a 40' Sportfishing with space for 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't leave home without bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

It all began in 1963 in Puerto Vallarta with Mr. Bruno Cerna Alvarez and a small boat named EL COMODIN, and a phrase that remains part of our legacy: 'If you don't catch a fish, don't pay… but if you don't pay, don't come back.' Generation by generation, our crew and family continue welcoming guests from around the world, creating unforgettable moments—from casual fishing days to birthdays, proposals, weddings by the captain, and trips with friends and family. Operating a 40' Bertram Sportfishing, Capt. Bruno ensures a comfortable fishing experience in the waters of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Using spinning, trolling, and other techniques, you'll have a chance to catch Queensland Groper (Giant Grouper), Blue Marlin and Yellowtail Snapper. The only way to learn is to join them on the water.
