Vallarta Sportfishing – Dos Amigos 

There's a fish with your name on it in Puerto Vallarta and Vallarta Sportfishing will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Enrique can tell you all about them.

Skipjack, Sierra Mackerel, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Skipjack Tuna, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Jack Crevalle, Mahi Mahi, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Enrique also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Your excursion begins aboard a 36' sportfishing boat with space for 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. There will be bottled water on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
