If you're going to cast a line in Coco, look no further. With Captain Roberto at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

Pacific Barracuda, Skipjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Leopard Grouper, Red Grouper, African Pompano Jack, Jack Crevalle, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, and more are in the cards, depending on the time of year.

For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Roberto also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Papagayo Go Fishing is a kid-friendly charter service, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available; you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You'll be fishing aboard a 38' Sportfishing with a capacity for 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

Capt. Roberto will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is recommended.

You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
