On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Capt. selby is happy to have kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 27' Pilothouse with capacity for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
