No boat ride and no prior fishing experience are required—the Crush Station crew sets up the beach, monitors the rods, refreshes bait, helps guests fight fish, photographs the catches, and cleans legal fish you choose to keep.
Trips are designed for families, vacation groups, first-time anglers, and experienced fishermen. We select the most productive accessible stretch of Melbourne Beach based on the tide, surf, weather, seasonal movement, and recent fishing activity. Depending on conditions, catches may include pompano, whiting, black drum, redfish, snook, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, tarpon, and several shark species.
This is a shore-based private fishing trip: your group gets room to spread out on the beach, easy access for children and non-anglers, and a complete guided experience without boarding a boat. There's no better place to fish than from the beach!

These guys are extremely flexible with timing. They accommodated all our needs and are beyond hospital. They love what they do and it’s infectious! It was a great day on the shore!!!

Thanks, Elijah! We had a lot of fun on our end -- y'all reminded me a lot of my own cousin dynamic -- I miss it! And what a bizarre run of sightings today even for those that are at the beach here every day -- manta rays, baby turtles, dead sharks... Wild, but gorgeous day. Let's go fishing again sometime!

Capt. Crush just started offering guided surf fishing trips in 2025, but he's been fishing the surf in Melbourne Beach his entire life. He loves all types of fishing, but above all else, he enjoys doing it most with two bare feet sunk into the sand. He's not always at the beach, but when he's not, he remains dialed in to what's biting as co-founder and publisher of Spacefish (est. 2018), a digital platform dedicated to local fishing here on the Space Coast, which continues to grow as an authoritative, recognized center of East Central Florida's fishing community. Unlike some other charters, when you book with CrushStation, you will be fishing with Capt. Crush himself (and crew) -- not some rando mystery guide off the street!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
