There's a fish waiting for you in Río Lagartos, and Tarpon Paradise will help you catch it!
Fishing here is popular for tarpon, snook, barracuda, speckled trout, jack, cobia, bonefish, and many more species depending on the season.
For these species, you'll use light or heavy tackle depending on the needs and type of fishing you're doing. Make sure you bring the right equipment by talking to your captain, Carlos Can. All fish you catch will be released if they are protected species. If you'd like to eat any, talk to Captain Carlos; he can clean your catch and cook it for you.
Tarpon Paradise excursions are open to the whole family, so everyone can come and disconnect for a day! Children must wear life jackets, so check if the right size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks!
Captain Carlos will take you aboard a 23-foot boat that can accommodate up to two passengers. Everything you need is included: permits, insurance, and a cooler.
Fishing rods and reels are not provided, so please ask the captain if you can bring your own or rent them for an additional fee.
Before boarding, you may need to purchase a local fishing license for everyone in your party. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be protected or require a tag for conservation purposes, so be sure you know what to expect on your days on the water.
It's always a good idea to bring sunscreen (not spray) and polarized sunglasses. Drinks are included. Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted, but please avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Lunch is included on a calm, shallow island, perfect for cooling off. Contact us for more information, especially if you have any dietary requirements.
Your trip with Tarpon Paradise is just a click away—why not make it happen?
