We could possibly pull up Blacktip Shark or fun fighting Tiger Shark, or possibly go to a tower and catch Amberjack and possibly find Mahi Mahi not far from there. Or we can just stay close to the beach for a longer boat ride.

This is for the group that would like to go out and anchor in the calm water and drop a line straight down. The boat will be roomy enough for the young ones to move around and also provide enough shade that the older ones can enjoy the day also. It will allow you to try to catch dinner, such as Flounder or Sea Mullet, possibly Croakers or Red Drum. it will be with light tackle and it's one of those trips that the father can really teach the young ones how to fish.

The trip consists of anchoring around the islands in the Inlet, which will allow us to try to catch Sea Mullet, Flounder or possibly Croaker and would be a chance to catch Red Drum that would put up a really good fight. This is a trip for the family where the little ones can enjoy to be in a spacious boat and the elderly will see what kind of treasures and memories there are.

I have been around boats and fishing all my life. At the age of 12 I worked in the boat shop with my grandfather, at the age of 17 I went in the Coast Guard for 4 years, and at the age of 32 I became a charter boat captain. For years I fished in the summer and built boats in the winter. I have over 32 charter boats built in the Sullivan name, one of which holds the North Carolina State Bluefin Tuna record at this moment. Now, me and my son work together, finishing up my career and hoping to pass on the family tradition. I have fished many tournaments in my offshore career and now I am semi-retired, fishing inshore, Nearshore and 6 hour trips. Over my 48 years I have tried to make each and every Charter the be the most memorable one anyone can have.

We didn’t catch many fish, but not for lack of trying. I think we drove about 30 miles all over looking, but came up short.
Captain and Mate were disappointed for us and invited us back for a 2nd try at a discounted rate. Hard working folks, and kind.
