These waters are home to Tarpon, Bonefish, Cero Mackerel, Red Grouper, Black Grouper, African Pompano Jack, Jack Crevalle, Permit, Rainbow Runner, Bonnethead Shark, Blacktip Shark, and more, depending on conditions. During the trip you might be spinning, popping, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Garret also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Capt. Garret welcomes you aboard a 18' Hewes flats boat with room for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
