Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Paddlefish, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. During the trip you might be spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Steven also offers fly fishing with all gear provided.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll be dropping lines from a 20' BassCat sportfishing vessel with space for 3-4 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license and/or trout stamp for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
There is room for small backpack for personal items which will be stored in a dry box and bring a light jacket or sweater for early morning or late afternoon trips. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also a good idea. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks available on board.

Steven took us out on the water, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in a way that made it easy and enjoyable for everyone. He was especially wonderful with my 3-year-old nephew, making sure he had a great time, which meant a lot to our family. Steven's friendly attitude and patience made the entire trip fun, relaxing, and memorable. We all had an amazing time!
Steve is a must hire ! Local knowledge always wins. He worked super hard keeping us on the fish , while switching out rods and flies. His boat is perfect. Verry happy - we will do again!
I hired Captain Steve for a 4 hour fly fishing trip and man did he not disappoint! We were catching fish the minute we started until we were fished out.
