Merritt Island has a fish with your name on it, so let Captain Pete's Lagoon Adventures help you catch it!

Tarpon, and more are in the cards if conditions are right.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You'll be casting lines from a 24' Deck boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Pete has rods and reels for you.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water.

Captain Pete's Lagoon Adventures will make it easy for you to go fishing in Merritt Island. So, how about booking that trip?

weird experience
2 Hour Trip - 1:30 PM on August 5, 20263 adults1 child

Well, it was a trip of two halves really and I have toyed with writing a review, on one hand we saw nature - dolphin’s, birds etc and went out on a boat in a new area we have never visited before, and my kids did catch some small fish. However on the other hand the boat broke down and therefore the aim for bigger fish etc and the proper trip didnt really happen. These things do happen and the crew did there best but it all felt a little uncomfortable and unorganised, I always think when things go wrong it shows how organised and professional an outfit is. We enjoyed our time but i would say they need a bit more work to get up to professional standards to be able to fully recommend, small things on reflection maybe should of been offered for example - a life vest for my smaller child or complimentary bottled water. Which we were offered on our last trip with a different charter. I know fish dont always bite and this is the luck of the draw but i think because the boat was old and not up to standard and broke down we were not able to move to different spots where we would of caught fish. it was ok but all in all a bit of an odd experience.

King Mackerel (Kingfish)
