Sitka Shoreline Adventures
Make the most of your time in Sitka and go fishing with Sitka Shoreline Adventures. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jerry can tell you all about the local fishery.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Lingcod, Rockfish, Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chum Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Black Seabass, and more with any luck.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area like setting pots for Shrimp or Crab!
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea!
You'll be casting lines from a 64' Motor yacht that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
Now, time to hit the water with Sitka Shoreline Adventures!
