We are after walleye in the Lake that is now considered the best Walleye fishing in the world with estimates of 90 million catchable walleye. Depending on conditions, you might hook into other species as well, and whatever else takes the bait.

Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Capt. Shane operates a 20' Walleye Ranger 620 VS that holds up to 3 guests. It has downriggers, planer boards and all the other trolling gear that is needed for a productive day on the water.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and Live bait, Setting lines is taken care of by the captain, but when a fish is on… you are on the fishing rod.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group that is between 18 and 64. Available online, I recommend if only purchasing a license for the day of the charter, that you wait until you have talked to the captain the evening before. Sportsman Ontario Fishing License is the recommendation if interested in catching a limit of six walleye per person.

It's recommended to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, by all means. Alcohol is not allowed.
