We will target Striped Bass and Mackerel on the river and in the surrounding ocean.
During the trip, you might be spin fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or trying something more specialized for this area. Capt. Andrew also offers fly fishing for small groups.
Trips with Marsh River Outfitters are open to the whole family, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there is one available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to help ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Andrew operates a 26' aluminum fishing boat that holds up to six passengers. It has all the essentials that no fishing machine can run without.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks available, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, as long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Highly recommend, fun time for all of us. Captain got in touch with us to arrive at a different location because the fishing was better, and we were all for it. Thanks for a great trip, good memory.
My family had a blast. From catching makerel to reeling in the stripers in, we loved it all. very personable guide and we could not ask for better views.
