Curate Peacock Bass Charters
I’ve spent most of my fishing career offshore and spearfishing. As much as I love chasing Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi, Peacock Bass fishing gets me just as excited. It’s a mix of fishing and golf—you spend the day making precise casts with light tackle into tight cover. I enjoy targeting Peacock Bass even more than Tarpon or Snook because I find catching them on lures to be more challenging.
On the day of your trip you're likely to spin using light tackle. Capt. Alberto also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
The captain has a strict catch-and-release policy, so any fish you catch will go back in the water.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is a 17' Bass Tracker bass boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Curate Fishing Charters!

We booked a half-day peacock bass trip and it exceeded all expectations. Alberto knew exactly where the fish were, and we caught more bass than we imagined!

thank you!
I've always enjoyed the water, from fishing off the shore as a youngster to traveling across the world in exotic locations as an adult. On the ocean, every day is different. It's a never-ending puzzle game in which the components are wind, current, moon phases, and water temperature. You must understand them and make judgments about which targets to pursue. Nothing makes me feel more present than tackling this challenge on a daily basis; it's my art form.
