Make the most of your time in Salinas and go fishing with Marina de Salinas.
You're likely to fish for Tarpon, Great Barracuda, Mutton Snapper, Snook, and more with any luck. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
The captain has a strict catch-and-release policy, so any fish you catch will go back in the water.
Kids are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your adventure begins aboard a 17' Mako flats boat with room for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Marina de Salinas!
