You'll be fishing aboard a 25' Sportsman center console with capacity for 5 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Travis has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Bottled waters are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

Captain Travis is the best!! My father (84), nephew (14) and I went out today and caught 3 keeper Stripers!! So challenging and fun to reel them in! Others were fishing around us but not doing what Captain Travis was doing and it didn't look like anyone else caught fish. We had so much fun! Even catching the mackerel for bait was fun. We saw 2 dolphin pods and a big sun fish. As if that weren't awesome enough, Captain Travis took us to his lobster pots and my nephew got to hook the buoys and help pull up the traps! We took home 5 keeper lobsters! We saw 3 huge females with eggs and other females and small lobsters that were thrown back. A great experience! We even got to fish in the mouth of the Merrimack river where a seal popped his head up after stealing my mackerel!! So cool! We had a truly perfect fishing day and then a really tasty dinner of fish and lobster and corn!! Doesn't get much better than that! Thank you Captain Travis!! We will definitely go out again! I wish it were tomorrow! We can't stop talking about our fabulous day!
Captain Travis was absolutely incredible. Very knowledgeable about the fish, went right into school after school, and if the bite slowed down, he was in touch with anyone he could to find the next one. The boat? immaculate. The equipment? in great shape. The captain? friendly, accommodating, and hilarious. Could not have asked for a better day. I would highly recommend. We will be going back as often as possible. When we need a Charter near the Salisbury area, we wont consider anyone else. Thanks from us for a great time!!!
If you are looking for an incredible fishing charter, book with Captain Travis! We just got back from an amazing trip where we reeled in some great bass. Travis is incredibly knowledgeable and knows exactly where the fish are biting. More than that, he is an absolute blast to be out on the water with. He makes the entire experience so much fun from start to finish. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!!
We had a great time with Capt. Travis and would highly recommend a charter with him. Striped Bass were fickle and we tried up and down in many areas. The knowlwedge of the fishing areas and experience ecentually paid off with a later afternoon early evening catch of a huge striped bass. Lots of different fish and nice time on the water.
We had a wonderful time on our half-day fishing excursion. While the weather did not want to cooperate, we were still successful in landing fish and had lots of fun doing it. We plan to rebook in the future when we return back to the southern Maine coast.

- Toilet I have a closed system toilet on board. I had a center Console for years with no bathroom and a 5 gallon bucket. I then added a pool noodle around the rim for a nice seal and comfort but some folks still wanted an enclosed bathroom now I have one!!
