Depending on the season, you might hook into Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Red Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and anything else that bites. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself popping, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be casting lines from a 24' Skeeter bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Lazy South Charters and get hooked!
