He knows the good spots of Islamorada and works around the clients to make their trip worth the while. With Capt. Tony, it's not just about a friendly service, but also about learning what fishing is. He will gladly share tips and tricks with any angler, from a family with kids to seasoned fishermen.

TOUGH DAY IN THE WIND OVERCOME BY CREW EXPERTISE
8 Hour Trip on April 15, 20262 adults

Captain Nagel and his deckhand Travis got us into fish when several other boats returned to port when their clients became seas sick. We had a great yellow tail morning, and a tougher afternoon dealing with 4-5 foot seas and alot of surface grass impeding our live bait trolling. We moved alot and found place to catch tuna, mangrove snapper (which we returned to the ocean) and a small tuna and an enourmous King Mackerel...Watching a highly professional work was a joy. Highly recommend this Captain (Tony Nagel and the Single Reels II crew, Travis. They taught us all how to effectively fish in a washing machine and they continually changed tactics to make sure we had a terrific time...Great boat, great people and a really great time.

Amazing day fishing !
8 Hour Trip on May 5, 20264 adults

Capt Tony & Travis were awesome! Tony got us out on the water before most had loaded their boats and got us right on fish (Yellow Tail Snapper). We landed 36 and could have limited out, had it not been for a nuisance shark and barracuda. Travis was patient and a great teacher since we have never went out for Yellow tail. This trip was with my father (for his 80th b-day) and my 2 brothers in law. My entire family enjoyed an amazing meal after the trip of the freshest YT in town! Thank you, Tony, Janice and Travis!

Our best fishing haul yet!
8 Hour Trip on July 1, 20264 adults

Captain Tony, Travis and Alicia were the best crew we’ve had thus far - out of all of our deep sea trips! we maxed out on Mahi (first time ever) and had so much fun catching them! Travis and Alicia kept our rods baited and fish on, to the point that our arms were tired from reeling! Captain Tony and Travis were both very knowledgeable and explained everything along the way. We will definitely be booking with them again in the future!

we had an amazing time they had us out and to the first spot quick we were on fish as soon as they tossed out the lures. hooked up to blackfin tuna pretty much immediately. second spot we cause so many Mahi Mahi. The Captain and his crew were amazing. They worked so hard during the entire trip and helped educate us and showed us new techniques to fishing, and they were super helpful and all knowledgeable. Put us on the fish
Half Day Trip - 7:00 AM on March 16, 20263 adults2 children

Captain Tony and his mate, Travis, were great. They took us out for a half day trip and put us on the fish immediately. There was no shortage of fish but unfortunately we had a number of members of our group get sea sick. As a result we cut the trip short, but not without dinner already in the boat. Captain Tony was very understanding. I would go back out with Captain Tony and the Singing Reel again and recommend them to anyone interested.

Reported catch:
Yellowtail Snapper
