Captain Tony has been fishing his whole life. He grew up around the water and has a knack for finding the fish. He knows the good spots of Islamorada and works around the clients to make their trip worth the while. With Capt. Tony, it’s not just about a friendly service, but also about learning what fishing is. He will gladly share tips and tricks with any angler, from a family with kids to seasoned fishermen.

Capt. Tony will supply all the rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait. You basically need to hop a board and get ready for the action. Bring your own food and drinks. 6 Hour Trip on June 18, 2025

Captain Tony and Travis were great. My son and I went on the Singing Reel this past week and had a really fun day. We fish quite a bit but they made the day so easy and took care of everything. The 42 ft Hatteras is a great boat and you will really appreciate it if the seas get choppy like it did with us. We caught fish all day (Mahi and tuna). We ate our fish for a couple of days and actually had to ship the rest home. If looking for a good charter I would definitely take a look at them.

Half Day Trip (AM) on March 19, 2025

Capt. Tony and crew were phenomenal. Communication prior was great with Capt. Tony. We were warmly greeted upon arrival at the dock. The boat is beautiful and very comfortable. We were quickly put on the fish and then poles did not stop bending. Travis, the first mate took his time teaching the techniques to my son and quickly had him landing fish after fish. His patience was wonderful. We came with the hopes of catching enough for dinner for that night and ended up leaving with so much fish we went to Islamorada Fish Company to have them freeze and store our fish to bring home. I can’t say enough great things about the Singing Reel. We will surely be back again as this was just excellent. Thank you Capt. Tony and Travis!!!

Captain Tony and Travis were a great team. It was our first time ocean fishing and Travis did a great job of teaching my kids the basics and answering questions. It ended up being an active predator day and we didn't catch as many as they had hoped but we had a great time. They tried several locations and we ended up with a great Yellowtail dinner.

Half Day Trip (AM) on December 27, 2024

My wife, two teenage sons, and I had never done any type of fishing in the ocean before. Captain Tony and First Mate Travis were instructive and very patient with us. We each ended up catching a bunch of fish and had a fantastic time. We went out for a half day charter which was plenty of time to fish and enabled us to take our fish that we caught to a local restaurant to be cooked for lunch. The boat was very spacious and well maintained. Overall it was an awesome trip! I would highly recommend Singing Reel Charters for a great family outing.
