From fishing and crabbing in the sound to a lifetime spent around boats, the water has always been a part of his story. Today, he shares that knowledge and passion by helping visitors experience the unique inshore fishing that makes Hatteras special.
While there are no guarantees in fishing, these waters are home to Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Flounder, Black Drum, and more. Depending on the season and conditions, you'll spend your trip using cut bait or casting light tackle while enjoying the unique inshore fishing experience Hatteras has to offer.
Full-day trips may also include the opportunity to go clamming on the local flats when conditions allow.
Families are welcome aboard! Child-sized life jackets are available. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, drinks, and snacks. Small to medium coolers are recommended due to limited space.
You'll be fishing from a 21' Carolina Skiff equipped for a comfortable and productive day on the water. Rods, reels, tackle, lures, and fishing licenses are included, so all you need to do is board the boat and enjoy your day.

Captain Andrew was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. When we ran into transportation issues getting to the marina, he graciously adjusted our departure time so we could still make the trip. He even generously extended our time on the water by an extra half hour—which ultimately gave us the opportunity to make a catch! We had a great experience and wholeheartedly recommend Captain Andrew to anyone looking for a fun and memorable fishing trip.

Captain Andrew was great! The sunset experience was amazing. We only caught 1 fish, but it was the biggest fish my son ever caught! His arms were screaming afterwards, LOL! Definitely recommend booking with Captain Andrew.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
