If you're ready to start fishing in Buxton, we've got you covered with Offpoint Sportsfishing. Your guide for the day is Captain James, which allows you to benefit from years of professional experience.
There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but some species you can catch around here include Redfish, Bluefish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Sheepshead. On these trips, you can expect to jig using light tackle. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
Your boat for the day will be a 21' Carolina Skiff that can fit up to 4 guests. Feel free to take home some of the fish you catch, assuming they're legal to keep. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. How's that for fresh seafood?

This is our second year/trip with Captain Jimmy. Before we went out for this trip, we had spoke about the plans. He informed me how the bite was slow that morning, and was willing to go out if we were interested in the challenge. We went! We tried multiple areas but there were no fish to be had. It was still a great time for us because we enjoyed the company of our Captain. My boys and I will be back again next year, and we will try again. Thing about fishing is, theres no guarantee youre gonna catch what your after, but when you are hanging out with great people it’s still a blast! Thanks again Captain Jimmy! 🎣

I enjoyed seeing one of my sons catching his first fish in the sound. I also enjoyed the peacefulness of just being on the water. Capt Jimmy was a exceptional captain helping us navigate the sound and helping my sons with new techniques on how to fish with lures instead of bait. I would definitely book again . Next time I would book morning trip.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
