Your fishing machine for the day is a 23' bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

We had a great half-day wade fishing trip with Captain Micheal on Matagorda Bay! From the time we left the dock, it was obvious he knows these waters inside and out. He worked hard to keep us on the fish, was patient, and made sure everyone had a great experience. We caught trout, learned a few new tips along the way, and had a lot of fun. Captain Michael is easy to talk to, professional, and truly enjoys what he does. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable guide who will work hard to make your trip successful, I highly recommend booking with him. We’d definitely fish with him again!

Years of experience on these waters have taught me where the fish are, how they move with the seasons, tides, and weather, and what it takes to put clients on fish. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or picking up a rod for the first time, my goal is to make your day on the water one you’ll never forget. Matagorda Bay is home to some of the best inshore fishing on the Texas coast, with opportunities to catch redfish, speckled trout, flounder, black drum, and more. Depending on the conditions and your preferences, we’ll spend our time drifting, wade fishing, or using the techniques that give you the best chance for success. I also specialize in exciting nighttime flounder gigging trips when the season allows. Families are always welcome! Whether you’re introducing your kids to fishing or spending quality time together, I strive to create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for everyone. If you need a child-sized life jacket, just let me know ahead of time. Feel free to bring snacks and anything else that will make your day more enjoyable. Your trip will take place aboard a comfortable 23-foot bay boat that accommodates up to four guests. The boat is fully equipped with quality rods, reels, tackle, and all the gear needed for a successful day on the water. Just bring your Texas fishing license, your favorite drinks, and a great attitude; we’ll handle the rest. Before your trip, be sure to purchase a valid Texas fishing license if required. Some species may have seasonal regulations or tag requirements, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions before we head out. For your comfort, I recommend bringing polarized sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), lightweight clothing, and bottled water. Drinks will also be available onboard. Alcohol is permitted in moderation, but please avoid glass bottles and hard liquor. Whether you’re looking to catch a trophy fish, fill the cooler, or simply enjoy a day exploring the beautiful waters of Matagorda Bay, I’d be honored to be your guide.
