These waters are known for Black Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Great Barracuda, Horse-eye Jack, Lane Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, and more. With any luck, they'll make your reel scream!
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or trying something more specialized. Capt. Johnathan also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous, spearfishing is also available.
Trips with Unbelizeable Fishing are child-friendly, so get the kids offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep everyone happy and energized.
Your vessel for the day is a 25' Panga with a capacity of 6 passengers. It features outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials needed for a great day of fishing.
Your captain will provide rods and reels.
You'll also have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can simply arrive and come aboard without any hassle. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow all applicable regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available on board, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, as long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Food and light snacks will also be available on board.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Unbelizeable Fishing!
