Our main fishing techniques are spinning and light tackle casting, providing an exciting and active fishing experience. All equipment is available if required, and our trips are suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers.
Depending on the season, you may catch Largemouth Bass, Zander (Pike Perch), Carp, Barbel, Catfish, and other freshwater species.
We proudly practice Catch & Release, helping preserve Alqueva’s exceptional fishery for future generations.
You’ll fish from a fully equipped 16ft Bass Boat, accommodating up to two anglers plus your guide, ensuring a comfortable and personalized experience.
We offer several fishing packages to suit your needs, from full-day guided trips to multi-day experiences including accommodation, regional meals, and optional Lisbon transfers.

I have been fishing from a boat on Lake Alqueva since the reservoir was first filled in 2002, giving me over two decades of experience on these waters. As a dedicated bass angler, I have competed in numerous fishing tournaments over the years, gaining extensive knowledge of the lake, seasonal fish behaviour, and the most effective techniques. In 2025, I turned my passion into a profession by becoming a licensed fishing guide. Today, I enjoy sharing my experience with anglers of all skill levels, helping them discover the best of Europe’s largest artificial lake while promoting responsible catch-and-release fishing.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
