Queiroga Alqueva Fishing

I have been fishing from a boat on Lake Alqueva since the reservoir was first filled in 2002, giving me over two decades of experience on these waters. As a dedicated bass angler, I have competed in numerous fishing tournaments over the years, gaining extensive knowledge of the lake, seasonal fish behaviour, and the most effective techniques. In 2025, I turned my passion into a profession by becoming a licensed fishing guide. Today, I enjoy sharing my experience with anglers of all skill levels, helping them discover the best of Europe’s largest artificial lake while promoting responsible catch-and-release fishing.
