Arenal Lake Fishing 

Make an adventure out of your next trip in El Castillo and go fishing with Arenal Lake Fishing.

Local species include Rainbow Bass, Tilapia, Jaguar Bass and Machaca. On these trips, you can expect to do casting and trolling using light tackle. Maybe Jigging depending on the season.

Any fish caught on these trips will be released.

Capitan welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so go ahead. Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your fishing boat is 18 ft Procraft. This price is for 2 persons but there is more space in case more people want to come. It comes with a fighting chair, trolling motor, Hummingbird Sonar, everything you need for a productive day on the water.

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time!

It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
