Plan B Charters – Jigging Hunter

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Amberjack, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Jack Crevalle, Black Grouper, Sailfish, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Vermilion Snapper, Great Barracuda, and whatever else takes the bait.

During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Your vessel for the day is a 24 Ft Sportfishing that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Alberto will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
