Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Brown Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, and plenty more. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. John also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Kids are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
John will bring you aboard a 24' Duckworth aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your skipper will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
John has a dog he brings along, so if someone does not feel comfortable they can let the Captain know beforehand.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
