Ready to Go Catch Some Fish?

Come experience some of the best fishing the South Carolina Lowcountry has to offer.

On our inshore trips, we target redfish, speckled sea trout, flounder, sheepshead, black drum, and many other species that call Charleston’s coastal waters home.

When weather and sea conditions permit, we can also venture offshore to the reefs, where we target vermilion snapper, red snapper, grouper, cobia, black sea bass, triggerfish, and a variety of other offshore species.

The Boat

You’ll be fishing aboard a 22-foot Sea Hunt BX Pro powered by a Yamaha 250 four-stroke. She’s quiet, quick, comfortable, and provides a smooth, dry ride even when conditions get a little choppy.

Ice is provided on every trip. If you choose to keep some of your catch for dinner, your fish will be properly iced and kept cold throughout the trip. I also practice responsible harvesting. There are certain fish I will choose not to keep even when they are technically legal under South Carolina Department of Natural Resources regulations.

Fresh Live Bait

We primarily fish with live bait, including shrimp, mullet, menhaden, and mud minnows.

Our bait isn’t something picked up at a tackle shop on the way to the ramp. I personally catch the bait either the morning of your trip or the day before, depending on conditions. That means we start the day with some of the freshest, liveliest bait possible.

Experience That Comes From Time on the Water

Fishing knowledge isn’t something you learn overnight.

Over more than two decades working as both a mate and a captain, I’ve developed an expert-level understanding of inshore and offshore fishing through thousands of hours on the water.

That knowledge has come from trial and error, learning from other experienced captains and mates, studying changing tides and conditions, and simply putting in the time.

There are no gaurentees in fishing however you will be fishing with someone who takes finding fish seriously.
