Our private fishing trips are customized around the season, weather, tides, and current conditions. Captain Joe and the mate will work hard throughout your trip to put you in the best possible position to catch fish while making sure you have a great time on the water.
Trip Pricing: • 3-hour trip – $500 + $250 fuel surcharge
• 4-hour trip – $750 + $350 fuel surcharge
• 6-hour trip – $950 + $550 fuel surcharge
• 8-hour trip – $1,150 + $550 fuel surcharge
The fuel surcharge is separate from the advertised charter price and is collected at the dock before departure.
Every trip is private and designed around your group. Captain Joe uses his local knowledge of Islamorada and the surrounding Florida Keys waters to determine the best areas to fish based on the day's conditions and what's biting. Whether you're looking for a shorter adventure or a full day offshore, we'll tailor the experience to your group.
Mate Gratuity: Gratuity is not included in the trip price or fuel surcharge. A 20% gratuity or more for the mate is customary and greatly appreciated for excellent service.

Capt. Joseph runs trips out of Islamorada aboard 34' Harris Sportfishing. Using bottom fishing, trolling, and other techniques, you'll have a chance to catch Black Grouper, Blue Marlin and Red Snapper. For special requests, such as kite fishing, message Capt. Joseph.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
