Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 21' Other with room for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Almost all trips require a one day Ontario license since we mostly fish ontario water. However depending on time of year and target species a michigan license may be needed. We will let you know!
Don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
