These waters are known for Cobia, Hammerhead Shark, Sheepshead, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Flounder, Tarpon, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, Mangrove Snapper, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few!

You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your adventure begins aboard a 27' Center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don't leave home without bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
