Come and explore the rich waters of Tampa Bay with Aquatic Escapes and make some great memories! Captain Jarrod Wallach is a second-generation captain, who has been fishing since his early childhood.
Get on board his 25' Sportsman bay boat powered by a Yamaha 250 HP engine. Inshore trips carry up to 6 people as a family group, usually three or four adults plus two or three kids. Tarpon, Shark and Kingfish trips are capped at 4 anglers.
Capt. Jarrod will provide you with rods and reels, as well as live bait to make your trip as productive as possible. He has all the licenses you need, and he will make sure to clean your fish for you to take home. A first mate is on board for almost every trip, baiting hooks, tying lines, netting your fish, and making sure everyone has a cold drink in hand.
Book anything from a short 3-hour trip up to full-day trips targeting specific fish. Choose a trip that speaks to you, and target Kingfish, Tarpon, or Shark on one of the specialized trips!
You can head inshore and explore the flats, mangroves, bridges, docks and rock piles in Tampa Bay. There are a lot of different species you can target here - Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Tripletail, Flounder, and Spanish Mackerel.
No food is provided on any trip. There is extra bottled water on board, but bring your own drinks and some sun protection. Alcohol is welcome in cans only - no glass bottles on the boat. Tips are not expected but are appreciated, so if you have a good time you can tip your captain.
Capt. Jarrod also partners with a few local captains in the Tampa Bay area. If you have a large party, they can set up a large trip with multiple boats. They can even organize a small tournament or a contest for you!
Grab some hats and sunglasses, pack your drinks in cans, and get ready to explore the Gulf of Mexico with Aquatic Escapes!

We had a great time for nephew's birthday.

So glad you had fun!

Unfortunately we didn’t have good weather. It was only 49 degrees, cloudy with wind and rain. Captain Jarrod took us up into the Little Manatee River to start. We were hoping that the wind would die down for us to get out on the bay. I caught a couple of fish but nothing we could keep. My dad and father in law had opportunities but either missed them or lost them. We tried to go out to the bay but it was too rough. We did try another spot but no luck. We had to call it an hour early because of a storm coming in. It’s not captain Jarrod’s fault that we had bad weather and we did have our chances to hook fish. I would recommend him and if I get a chance next year I would like to try it again. Thanks captain Jarrod!

The guys worked hard and put us on fish.

So glad y'all had fun! Come back soon.

Me and my son booked Jarrod to have some fun on the water. Jarrod and his mate were a blast and they put us on Snapper and Spanish Mackerels. Best 4 hours I’ve ever experienced and would recommend Jarrod if wanting to experience a great day on the water catching fish. Jarrod cleaned all our fish afterwards and put in bags on ice!?

So glad you had fun fishing with us. Hope to see you again soon!
I purchased this trip as a birthday present for my son who works so hard he doesn't get time to fish. He invited a childhood friend I Had not seen in decades. Captain Jarrod did everything to make this a special day. They pulled in fish after fish which the captain expertly fileted. I baked the Spanish mackerel in seasoned panko crumbs and he took them back to Atlanta for a special dinner. Every thing about the trip couldn't have been better. I was so happy they both had a good time.

I'm so happy this was so amazing for everyone!

From as early as I can remember, my dad had me on a boat with a fishing rod in my hands. At first, I was simply excited to have bait on my hook and hang out with my dad. As I grew up, the fish got bigger and bigger... and I was hooked! Growing up in New York, we would fish for Fluke, Flounder, Strippers & Cod in the winter. We would also enter the occasional Shark fishing tournament. Fishing was, and still remains, a huge part of my life and it gave my father and me the time we needed to bond, before he unexpectedly left us in 2006. It was always my father's dream to retire and use his captain's license to open a charter business. Every day, I strive to keep his legacy alive.
