On your day out, you will be fishing from your own private lakeside hut. The views of the surrounding mountains are beyond spectacular and the fishing needs to be seen to be believed. The lake is one of the largest fisheries in southern Thailand with nearly 10 acres of water.
With Exotic Fishing Thailand, the list of your potential targets is so big that it's hardly possible to mention all 60+ species at once. You will be going after Arapaima, Siamese Carp, Giant Mekong Catfish, Alligator Gar, Chao Phraya Catfish, Wallagoo Leeri, Yellow Cheek Carp and many more.
You will be able to take 12 swims to catch the fish of a lifetime. Your guides will help you throughout the adventure landing the fish, helping with photos, changing leaders, and bait. This is a strictly catch and release fishery where the survival of the fish is paramount. Get ready to get wet as you join your catch in the water for a photograph!
All trips come with two rods, tackle, and an unlimited supply of bait, as well a taxi ride back anywhere in Phuket Krabi or Khao Lak. A lakeside food and drinks service with both Thai and international food will be available.

I'm dedicated to all things fishing, from sharing tools and advice to showing people exactly where to fish to have the best time on the water. I have to say that Mike and his staff have put together the best of everything in one place. The facility is 5 star and includes beautiful bungalows, the restaurant and service are top notch and the guides are some of the best in the business. My daughter and I definitely made memories of a lifetime on this trip. She pulled in two Amazon red tailed catfish (30 and 70lbs) and I caught one of the famous arapaima topping out at around 155 lbs. There are over 60 species to be caught in this lake and every single person there pulled in fish throughout the day. Thank you Mike for your professionalism and for sharing this special spot in Thailand with me. I can promise that I will be back and I'll bring my friends.
We had a great day fishing at Mike's place. You get your own hut to hang out at while fishing and the guides there are absolutely wonderful. There are a lot of HUGE fish in that lake and if you're lucky you might hook an arapaima. There's also a fish park where you can see smaller fish of exotic species and a pond with smaller arapaimas. Last but not the least the food there was phenomenal. We had a blast!

This was hands down the best fishing trip I have ever been on. If you are reading this look no further, you have to book this trip. It was one of the coolest things I have ever done. I did the full day trip, caught 10 fish, 3 different species and they all put up a heck of a fight. My guide Lek was awesome. If you go you have to go with the extra two rods it is definitely worth it. The place is beautiful, the people are friendly, and if you don't book this trip you are missing out!

Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Mike and his wonderful crews. My guide was respectful, attentive and have great care to both me and the fish I caught. The food there was also phenomenal and the view is breathtaking. Ps. Contact them directly for booking and save yourself some money.
Second time i visit Mikes exotic lake Phuket! Rematch on Arapaima this year, didnt succeed last year. After loosing one big Arapaima in the morning the fishing was slow because of the weather. But in the evening hell broke loose and eouforia took place with a fish to remember! A dream came through!! Thanks to Mike and Paul to make this happened! Best regards from Pär-Emil
