we went out on the first of january, jigging in koh phiphi zone upto around 45m maximum i think. we had a young captain and deckie, both 18 but both full of hunger to catch fish and have a great trip. we pulled out of the port abd started headung towards the fist zone, dropping jigs to 24m. the boys hooked up into multiple nize sized queen fish whilst we managed to get bit off by barracuda a couple of times. we did multiple drifts and drops over the zones, the boys were eyes on the fish finder and the water at all times, more than happy to restart the drift when the boat passed the spots. after the queenfish moved on we moved into a different spot and first drop gifted a nice sized cobia and some snapper before drying up, next we moved onto some wrecks and struggled to get hooked fish into the boat without being bit in half. big barracuda were a bit of a nuisance but great excitement all the same. we finished off a great day jigging by going inshore after a tip off the GT were biting! we pulled up and immediately started hooking into GT approx 2kg average, great fun! note boat traffic is high in the phiphi zone so if youre not used to big swell and waves all day this may not be the zone.

We had a successful trip, catching 8 fish and did some snorkeling. The snorkeling was by a secluded island and there were many tropical fish to see. The staff was helpful and provided lunch and mangoes for snacks. We took our fish to a restaurant right by where the boat docked and they cooked it for us. The company owner speaks fluent English and joined us for dinner. He was unable to join us for the trip that day, and one thing to be aware of is that his crew does not speak English as well as he does.

The captain and his crew were really nice and ensured we had a brilliant day. equiptment and boat were very well maintained. We had said in advance we would like to catch a barracuda and I did at the first place we stopped. Other species caught included Grouper, Red Snapper, Guam and some flat fish. a simple, tasty lunch was provided along woth lotsof water and soft drinks and the scenery tound the Phi Phi islands was stunning. Highly reccomend.

Great day out on the water despite not catching that many fish. We ended the day with a total of 10 fish. Snappers, gt's, barracuda, and a few other species of fish. No giants this trip but you cant always catch em all and i knew that going into the trip. Also it being April the hottest month in Thailand doesn't help with fishing and not to mention the pairs of giant fishing net boats overfishing the Andaman sea which was a shame to see. But even against all odds our guide took us to as many spots as possible to try catching what was left in the ocean. All in all i had a great day out with this crew and i would recommend you try it out if you're interested in a private fishing adventure! Cheers to the crew

we had an excellent fishing trip, the crew were fantastic. they provided a great lunch, a cool box full of drinks and snacks throughout the day. we haven't much experience around fishing but we couldn't have gone anywhere better. we would highly recommend
