Reel Action Charter Services provides professional fishing charter experiences in Port Mansfield, Texas. Offering half day, full day, and evening trips, they give you the chance to experience Texas fishing with a guide who has been angling in the beautiful Lower Laguna Madre for over 20 years.
Your trip will be spent aboard Captain Augustin Perez's stable 25 ft Dargel Kat flats boat, which provides a comfortable ride for up to four anglers plus the captain. Powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine, the boat can reach speeds of up to 55 knots, getting you between the best fishing spots fast.
While Captain Augustin specializes in fishing with light tackle and artificial baits, he is happy to provide live bait for you if you prefer, and his boat's live bait tank will keep it fresh throughout your trip. Reel Action Charter Services focus on catching all three species the Laguna Madre is famous for: Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder. Trips are flexible and, above all, are designed for you to have your perfect, personalized Texas fishing trip.
All bait, tackle, and bottled water is included in the price of the trip. Just turn up with a valid Texas saltwater fishing license and any snacks and drinks you might like to have during the day and get ready for a fun day fishing in the Laguna Madre.

Quickly went from a fishing trip to a catching trip..
Captain Augustin took me and my four sisters out of Port Mansfield. We had a wonderful time. He was on time, had an immaculate boat, and a fun and pleasant attitude. He was very knowledgeable about fishing in the area, and we all caught fish and had a great time! I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a very experienced and likable guide in the area.
Four person charter out of Port Mansfield. The captain put us on the specs and we limited out quickly. Spent the rest of the trip targeting redfish and pulled four good reds on the boat. Captain was knowledgable, funny and we had a great time. Recommend highly!
Great day out on the water with Capt. Perez. Very knowledgeable about the waters surrounding Port Mansfield, he has been fishing the area for a long time.. Very patient and quick to attend our rods and tackle when we had issues. We weren't the most experienced fisherman, so he gave us great tips and instructions. His boat was perfect for the four of us and we had no issues with the rods and reels. We fished with live bait and plastics, landed fish with both. We caught some great specs and a nice red. Entertaining gent to boot. I'd hire him again if we are ever back in Port Man.
Very good captain. Worked hard to find fish on a windy tough fishing day. Captain Augustin is a really nice guy who made our trip a lot of fun. I would definitely fish with him again.
