Hulhumalé has a fish with your name on it, so let Type 2 Fun Charters help you catch it!
These waters are home to Roving Coralgrouper, Blue and Yellow Grouper, Long-Tail Red Snapper (Onaga), Black Marlin, Sailfish, Red Emperor Snapper, Giant Trevally, Dogtooth Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your trip begins aboard a state-of-the-art 32' center console that comfortably holds up to 7 passengers. It has twin 20-foot outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a spacious toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a small tip is customary.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed aboard fishing vessels in the Maldives, as per government rules and regulations.
Type 2 Fun Charters will make it easy for you to go fishing in Hulhumalé. So, how about booking that trip?
