Come on out for a great time with Captain Larry J Hensley's C'mon Fishing charters! You'll explore Texas's famous Lower Laguna Madre for some spectacular fishing and beautiful sunsets. Your captain's goal is to put you on a great day of fishing and to help you, your family, and friends make some lifelong memories.
You'll be fishing aboard your captain's 22' Shallow Sport flats boat, originally built in 2017 and powered by a 175 HP Yamaha engine. She's perfectly built to cruise these waters, and can accommodate up to 5 guests. Children are more than welcome, so bring the whole family along!
This vessel comes decked out with top navigational equipment, such as GPS and fishfinder, as well as a live bait well.
These waters are known as being home to some incredible fish species, and Capt. Larry will help you target the catch of your dreams. You'll have the chance to cast your line for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Snook, Flounder, Kingfish, among others. You can opt for a shorter trip, which is the perfect introduction to this fishery, or spend all day on the water exploring the possibilities.
You'll have a variety of techniques to try, including drift fishing, bottom fishing, popping, fly fishing, and that unique Texan tradition, Flounder gigging. If you choose to keep your catch, it will be cleaned and filleted for you to take home and fry up as a tasty meal. You may also release your fish back into the water if you prefer.

We tagged out for the day very quickly on spotted trout then went on to find some red snapper. Unfortunately none in the area that day but we did catch & release a few more large spotted trout. Captain Larry was great communicating with how the trip would go, what to bring, where to meet, etc. He did say that it was a slower day but my husband got 4 keeper sheepshead. He said they caught some smaller ones and other fish species as well. Overall it was a great trip and my husband can't wait to come back in the summer to fish for Snook!

Me and my son had fun we did nit catch a lot of keepers but we still had fun catching fish even if they were not any keepers.

Captain Larry was top-notch! Even with a slow bite, he worked hard to put us on fish and made sure we had a great time. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and kept the energy up the whole trip. Highly recommend!
