Welcome to Tight Line Charters, a family-friendly all-inclusive fishing charter business. We’ve nominated top 5 best charters in Charleston by the Post and Courier and hopes to keep it going! They offer light and heavy tackle guided fishing trips, inshore shallow water/nearshore deep water fishing charters, and harbor/eco-tours as well so you can take in all Charleston has to offer.
Tight Line Charters is locally owned and operated by Captain Jesse Riddle, a USCG-certified, licensed, and insured captain with an outstanding reputation. He is a true local and an avid angler in shallow and deep water and has been fishing low country waters for over 25 years and will take you to the some of most productive fishing grounds.
They will provide you with all fishing gear necessary, including baits and fishing licenses. You’ll be using all Penn gear and you’ll be targeting Redfish, Flounder, sharks, Trout, Sheepshead, and Black Drum inshore. Nearshore you’ll be targeting Snapper, Triggerfish, Grouper, Amberjack, Cobia, Kingfish, and more depending on the time of year. The weather is great for the most part year-round in the Southeast, which allows the fish to be active.
Fishing will take place aboard a 33’ Contender powered by new twin 250 HP Yamaha engines. These boats are of the absolute best tournament boats and are considered a staple in the fishing industry. The boat is equipped with all updated electronics and performance by Yamaha which gives a smooth, quiet, clean, and dry ride. It has ample dry storage room and seating, and an oversized T-top for ample shade.
Capt. Jesse has unparalleled knowledge of the area’s fisheries and species and loves to share his knowledge with his clients. You can keep the fish as long as it’s in the legal size limit, the capt. will clean them for you. An automatic 20% gratuity is added to any party of 5 or more. There is a $100 upcharge for weekend bookings due to overcrowding.
NOTE: Departure times might vary, depending on the tide.
