Keen M Sport Fishing
Keen M Sport Fishing and their dynamic crew invite you to join them on board one of their boats. The 'Keen M' is a 41' vessel, built by Michael Fitz in 2005. She has been featured in various fishing magazines, such as Salt Water Sportsman, Marlin Magazine, Guy Harvey Magazine, National Geographic, Dive, and Canada Diver, as well as in some BBC series. If that's not impressive, then nothing else is!
Enjoy an eco-friendly crew and hone your angling skills. Have fun with your fishing buddies or take your whole family out on the water. The professional team of Keen M Sport Fishing will help you make an outstanding catch possible, be it Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Red Snapper or any possible Billfish that these waters have to offer.
All you have to do is pack some cash for live bait and get ready for a lot of action. The Keen M is powered by a 580 Cummins Diesel engine and has enough room for up to 8 passengers. She is also outfitted with navigational and fishfinding electronics, a full head, and various professional accessories.
Try your hand at bottom fishing and trolling. Go for jigging, spinning, and deep sea fishing or even fly fishing if you let the crew know in advance. If someone from your party doesn't have the itch to fish, they will be able to go snorkeling.
Your trip will include all the necessary gear and tackle by Shimano and Okuma. Cookies, potato chips, apples, pineapples, watermelons, drinks, ham, and cheese will also be available on board. The only thing that's missing is you!

Great fishing trip. Fernado, Ish and Jimmy couldn't have been better. Caught so many fish and multiple species. Guys were top notch!!

We have fished the Keen MII many times with captain Fernando and crew and its always great fishing and catching. They are all total professionals and the boat is top notch. This time both my grandsons pulled in their first sailfish along with a grand slam variety of other specials include blackfin tuna, snapper, and dorado.
The booking via FishingBooker didn't get to the guide timely so be sure to call the guide after booking to confirm. The guide service doesn't allow for tips via credit card so please be prepared with tips via dollars/pesos. That said, this is bar far the best guide service in the Cancun/Isla Mujeres area. Promise, pay the small premium for these guys… they are completely worth it and run an experienced crew. On the fish immediately and stayed on them as long as we wanted. Seriously, booked lots of offshore trips and this group is top notch. While the seas can be fickle, this is the best of the best!

Thank you for your review, we hope to have you with us in the near future!

Having been offshore fishing for almost 50 years, this was the second best trip I have ever had. (Best was East Coast Blue Fin 25 years ago. Went out for 3 days, came back in one cause there was no room left for fish.) We lost more fish that we should have, as it took us a while to really regain our sea-legs after 14 months of no-go covid, but we still managed to land 31 sailfish!!!! Again the two of us landed 31 in 1.5 days!!!!! Still not sure how the barracuda got into the mix but it was cool to see something different. We always alternate hook-ups, but we had one hour where we were arguing over who was up. It not my turn its yours. :-) There was just no break. The fact that the bite was insane wasn't what made this the 2nd best trip. Sometimes your on fish, sometimes your not. That's why it's call fishing. (Although to be honest, day one wasn't fishing......it was catching. Day one saw 25 on with more loses than I'll admit to, and day 2 was a 1/2 day at our request with 6 on and none lost.) The thing that was so amazing was the way the two deck hands and captain worked. This isn't a paid political announcement........I have never seen a team work so well as Anthony and his two mates did. I wish I knew there names, but asi es la vida. Day one was totally over the top, but when we got back to the dock we learned that most boats had a fair to average day. Day two was slower but our six fish in a half day beat many boats that stayed out all day. All I can say is, thanks guys for a trip we'll be talking about forever!!!!! Joe D.

Thank you so much Mr Dangelmaier, it was a pleasure to have you on the Keen M, we hope to see you again and talk about tuna fishing this summer! Capt Anthony Mendillo
Even though we went on the 'off season', we caught some great fish and had a great time! We threw the below fish in the cooler - 2 King Fish, 1 Baracuda, 1 Mahi Mahi, a shark and a snapper! The last catch of the day was a 5' Sail Fish! Awesome trip!!

Thank you for choosing us to take you fishing! We hope to have you with us again!

We all at Keen M love fishing, our captains, mates, and guests. We all love it and enjoy sharing our ocean experience with all our clients. Our favorite type of fishing is whatever is biting the best! Our company's specialty is Atlantic Sailfish and light tackle bottom fishing. We also have a passion for large Sharks in the area, all of our Shark fishing is catch-and-release. We even swim with them sometimes – ask about our cages!
